Data Strategy & Architecture Principles

When we think about data strategy and architecture, we live by these principles:

What does that mean?

  • That the strategy is platform agnostic and not married to any one vendor or tool.

  • It’s democratized, meaning it serves everyone (not just one business unit)

  • It positions CX as central! Otherwise, why do it?

  • It is extensible and global

  • It establishes foundational tools and systems as ready for additional business intelligence initiatives (that is, AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science)

  • It drives toward getting to customer 360 (a 360-degree view of the customer), and toward “one view” of the customer (no separate siloes of data with varying information).
